Last night the WA sporting community celebrated the finest in the state for 2022 at the SportWest Awards. Congratulations to our rowing nominees, to stand out amongst the hundreds of submissions received is an honour.
No Light No Row! Yes, it's that time of the year - a reminder to please ensure that all water craft are properly lit when out on the water early morning or early evening. This means appropriate lighting for both rowers & coaches.
Row Safe Stay Safe.

Congratulations Rowing Nominees!
The SportWest Awards are WA’s premier sports awards & enable the community to recognise excellence in sport & celebrate the achievements of WA sportspeople, coaches, officials, volunteers & administrators.
Rowing WA would like to congratulate our 2022 nominees who represented the sport of rowing at last nights' awards.
WA Sports Star Nominee
Sport4 Coach of the Year Nominee
Active Xchange Official of the Year Nominee
It was an honour to see their names amongst the best of the best in the sporting community!

No Light No Row!
The days are getting shorter which means our mornings are now getting darker. This is a timely reminder to all our clubs & schools to please ensure that your dinghies & boats are WELL LIT when out on the water.
There have been a number of reported incidences over the last week from school & club crews.
As with the speed exemption, NOT ABIDING by the law could result in the entire WA rowing community being impacted by the actions of a few.
Please don't let this happen - repeat after us - "NO LIGHT NO ROW!"
