Dear Readers of Oar Talk,

As I bid farewell to Rowing WA today & embark on a new venture in a different role, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support over the last 8 years.

It has been a true joy to curate & deliver the latest rowing news to the WA community, & I hope that you have found as much delight in reading the stories as I did in sharing them with you. Thank you for being a part of this wonderful journey.

One of the stalwarts of the Rowing WA Office finishes up with Rowing WA today, after 8 years.

Tiffany started with Rowing WA on 1 July 2015, when things were quite a bit different. The office still had a fax machine & the two computers in the office didn’t even have a central electronic filing system.

Like the organisation, Tiffany’s role has evolved significantly over this time, starting off as the Admin Officer predominantly looking after accounts payable/receivable & function room bookings, & progressing most recently to be the Office & Communications Manager responsible for management of the RWA office, all finance functions & marketing/communications/sponsorship servicing.

She also trained as a Boat Race Official & was a member of two different rowing clubs over her time with Rowing WA.

Many of you would have spoken to Tiffany when you’ve called the office, booked (the old) Canning Bridge function room, made a finance enquiry, asked a question through social media, or met her in person during regattas or other events.

It will be hard to imagine the sport without her involvement & we are truly thankful for her time & commitment to her role & the sport.

We wish Tiffany all the best in her new role & other future endeavours.

All the best Tiff!!
