Act Belong Commit All Schools Rowing WA Regatta's
Ever thought about taking up rowing but didn’t know where to start? The health and fitness, integrity, excellence, teamwork, self-development, friendship and leadership benefits gained from being involved in rowing are far superior to many other sports.
Rowing can be for everyone and the Rowing WA All Schools Regatta Series offers an opportunity for secondary school students to get involved and represent your school or club in the sport of rowing. The series boasts participation from approx. 50 schools across the greater Perth area. So take the plunge and get involved!
The series comprises four regattas held at the Champion Lakes International Regatta Centre between June and August, offering opportunities for all ability levels to get involved. Crews can compete in Singles, Doubles, Quads, and Eights in Year 9, Year 10, and open events. There will be hot food, cold drinks and coffee available at all regattas.
If your school doesn’t offer a rowing program it doesn’t matter. Rowing WA can align individuals or entire schools with an established rowing club that can customize a program for your specific needs.
If you are a student or school that would be keen to explore this opportunity then please contact Sarah Black at Rowing WA on (08) 9364 3905 or email for more information.
