Yellow is the New Black!

Rowing WA would like to introduce to the rowing community our newest Level 1 Boat Race Official - Rosalba Vicario-Adams!

With no previous rowing experience, Rosalba was introduced to rowing through her children. Her children are members at Swan River Rowing Club and when the club called for volunteers, Rosalba was quick to put up her hand.

Rosalba commenced her training in the regatta secretary role and has progressed through to judging in the tower, marshalling, control and is currently working on her umpiring skills. She has just recently acquired her Skippers Ticket (RST) to add to her skill set.

Rowing WA would also like to congratulate Phill Matthews, Kavinda Dassanayake, Michelle Davis, Simone Burge, and Andre Adams for passing their Skipper Tickets. We look forward to them putting it to good use at our regattas.

As a Rowing WA Boat Race Official you are not required to do every regatta. You can choose how little, or how much you would like to do. All training is provided plus it’s a rewarding sport to be involved in. Boat Race Officials are paid for each regatta that they work at.
