Vale Mr Con Stacey

A True Gentleman & Legend in the Rowing Community.

It is with much sadness that Rowing WA informs our community of the passing of Mr Con Stacey.  Con was the inaugural President and driving force of the original WAITRC and subsequently CUBC of which he was president until 1994.

The clubhouse is named in his honour and Curtin University Boat Club were privileged to have him attend their 50th celebrations in 2019.  His enthusiasm for the sport of Rowing never diminished.  He was a true gentleman and a legend in the Rowing community.

His funeral will be held at Aquinas College on Thursday 7th April at 2.30pm.
