Meet Our Boat Race Officials!

Over the coming months, Rowing WA will be featuring our Boat Race Officials & introducing them to the WA rowing community.

This week we take great pleasure in introducing you to one of our long-standing officials, Lynne Bayliss.

Lynne has been involved in rowing and officiating for many years and is still an active member of Curtin University Boat Club. She is especially well-known for her famous chili con carne, served at all CUBC hosted regattas! Over the years, Lynne has taken on the responsibility of training and mentoring our up-and-coming Boat Race Officials and her help has been invaluable. At regattas, you are likely to find Lynne working in a whole host of roles and her can-do and no-nonsense attitude means things get done!

So I could be involved and stop coaching

Not anymore

In a weird way 8 eights trying to get a line on a windy day!

Sausage in a bun

It offers an alternative view to the sport and offers a different style of being part of a team.
