Western Australian Rowers Set to Represent Australia at World Rowing Cup II in Varese, Italy
The picturesque city of Varese, Italy, is all set to host the highly anticipated World Rowing Cup II from June 16th. The event will witness the convergence of top rowers from around the world, including a formidable Australian contingent. Among the talented athletes representing Australia, Western Australia boasts an exceptional group of rowers who will play pivotal roles in the Men's and Women's crews.
Women's Crews
The Women's crews will feature a strong presence from WA, with four remarkable rowers ready to showcase their skills and determination. Annabelle McIntyre OAM (FRC/HPNTC) will bring her experience and tenacity to the team. Joining her will be Giorgia Patten (WARC/HPNTC), an outstanding rower who will add depth and strength to the Australian team. Bronwyn Cox (UWABC/HPNTC) is also part of the Women's Crews, providing her unique set of skills to aid in their quest for victory. Additionally, Jacqui Swick (SRRC/HPNTC) will lend her expertise and competitive spirit to further bolster the team's chances of success.

Men's Crews
In the Men's Crews, WA will be represented by two remarkable rowers, Jack Cleary (WARC/RBNTC) and Josh Hicks (RBNTC). Jack Cleary, a proven athlete, brings a wealth of experience to the team. Cleary's determination and skill in the water make him a valuable asset to the Australian team as they aim for a podium finish. Josh Hicks, an experienced and seasoned athlete will complement Cleary's expertise with his own blend of talent and drive. Together, Cleary and Hicks form a formidable duo ready to take on the world's best in their respective crews.

Our WA rowers are part of this strong contingent, poised to compete against the best rowers from across the globe.
