Rowing Australia has formally announced the 2022 Australian Under 19, Under 21 and Under 23 Rowing Teams that will represent Australia internationally in 2022. 2022 will be the first time since 2019 that Australia has been represented at an underage level internationally, so this is an incredible honour and fantastic opportunity for our young WA rowers!

Deputy Performance Director, Jaime Fernandez OLY, highlighted the importance of the Trials:
“It cannot be underestimated the significant challenges and hurdles that our young athletes, their coaches and families have had to overcome over the past two years to get to these Trials. It is wonderful that we can now look to send crews internationally to compete once again.”
This year the Under 23 and Under 19 Australian Rowing Teams will compete at a combined World Championship event in Varese, Italy from 25 – 31 July. The Under 21 crews will compete in the Trans-Tasman regatta from 16-18 June at the Sydney International Regatta Centre, Penrith.
