Becoming a Rowing Boat Race Official

Are you interested in being a positive role model for children and young adults? Would you like to do something valuable for the community?
The following outline some of the many positives involved with being a Boat Race Official (BRO) in Rowing;

  • Support a family member who is involved in the sport
  • Rowing has given you so much over the years and you want to put something back into the sport
  • Represent your club at another level, up to an international level
  • You have an interest or passion for rowing
  • To gain personal satisfaction
  • You have a community minded spirit and enjoy helping others
  • You are looking to do something worthwhile for the young people in the community
  • You are looking for an avenue to make friends, develop social contacts and have fun
  • Flexible scheduling
  • You want to keep fit and active
  • This course is fully subsidised by Rowing WA

If you are looking for a meaningful way to get outdoors and you enjoy sports and feel that you might have an aptitude for becoming a Boat Race Official. Then you owe it to yourself to contact Rowing WA to find out more about what’s involved. 

Upcoming Boat Race Official Course   

The next BRO course is scheduled for Thursday 4th May for 2 hours from 6pm at Rowing WA Headquarters, 4 The Esplanade, Mount Pleasant. Refreshments will be provided.
