TERRY SCOOK HONORARY ROW PAST
Saturday, 25th August 2018 | 3:30pm to 7:30pm
Terry Scook or 'Scookie' as he is known has coxed and coached much of the rowing fraternity since 1948. This is your opportunity to come along and pay tribute to 'Scookie' and his many achievements by participating in an Honorary Row Past, followed by a function to be held in the Rowing WA Mezzanine.
Those who have been coxed or coached by Terry and the general public are invited to participate in this great event.
Each crew will be made up of a mixture of oarsman both male and female who have been coached or raced with and against Terry as a coxswain.
Nominations for a seat are open available for the following categories; 8+, 4+, 4-, 2+, 2-, 2 or 1X.
Once the Row Past has concluded guests are invited to continue the celebration ashore where there will be presentations, speeches and a BBQ.
Entry to the Row Past and tribute function are free with guests encouraged to donate to the Berry Durston Foundation - RWA Hall of Fame fund. All proceeds to the Berry Durston Foundation will assist to develop the Rowing WA building at Champion Lakes and also find, catalogue and resurrect the historical items that will be put on display with aims to make this space the new home of Rowing in Western Australia, which will showcase the rich heritage that the sport has in the State.
