The Safe Clubs Working Group will provide an opportunity for RWA and affiliated club to discuss, compare and share information related to on strategic issues relating to the Safe Rowing in Clubs in WA.

“Safe Clubs” includes but is not limited to:

  • Water safety – being on the water in boats, swimming ability, life jackets, lights;
  • Operational safety – being off the water, boat loading, driving to regattas/training, OSH;
  • Personal safety – looking after self (mental health, diet and behaviours), child safeguarding, bully and harassment, member protection and drugs in sport.
