The Club/School Coach program is aimed at senior school and club coaches. This program trains coaches who already have some experience in the sport and aims to provide the coach with the knowledge and skills to develop athletes to their potential. Coaches will have enough knowledge to develop an annual program, rig boats appropriately and develop younger athletes.
Club/School coaches provide coaching to the majority of athletes and will be required to tutor rowers of all ages and physical capabilities. These coaches will have basic sports science knowledge.
The modules covered in a Level 2 course are listed below and combined cover approx. 17 hours of course delivery, usually covered across 2 days or 6 weeknights.

Course Pre-requisites
The pre-requisites for this course are:

Completion of the L1 Learn to Row course and Level 0 General Principles Course (or approved recognition of prior learning from Rowing Australia)

Evidence of completed worksheets need to sent to: admin@rowingwa.asn.au prior to course attendance.
You will need to purchase the Australian Sports Commission Intermediate Coaching manual for $17.50 (from the AIS Shop) in order to complete the above worksheets.
