Use of Champion Lakes by Affiliated Rowing Clubs

Rowing WA and its affiliated and associate members are entitled to use Champion Lakes Regatta Centre (CLRC) for training and events under the following conditions:

General Conditions

  1. Non-Exclusive Use:

    • Affiliated clubs can utilise the water facilities at no cost, provided the use is non-exclusive.
    • Non-exclusive use means the facilities remain open to other users during the session.
  2. Exclusive Use:

    • If exclusive use is required, standard hire fees will apply as per the VenuesWest Gazetted Fees and Charges.
    • Exclusive use involves restricting access to other users during the booked session.
  3. Booking Requirements:

    • Bookings are required for organised training sessions or events to help VenuesWest manage usage and ensure availability.
    • Casual, non-exclusive training sessions do not require formal bookings.
  4. Facilities Access:

    • Clubs with a high number of participants (40+), such as during training camps, must book facilities like change rooms and function spaces.
    • Facility bookings are non-exclusive and subject to availability.

Operational Details

  • Venue Hours: Champion Lakes operates from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
