Perth to Fremantle Head Race

The iconic Perth to Fremantle Head Race will be held on the morning of Sunday 26 May 2019 from 7am, the day after the 2019 Australian Masters Rowing Championships concludes.

These two regattas have been aligned to provide visiting crews an opportunity to row in WA’s most prestigious head race. This 17km event will start under the backdrop of the Perth city skyline and finish at Fremantle Rowing Club. This event winds through the picturesque Swan River and is normally only contested in singles and eights. However due to the expected increase in entries, coxed quads and coxed fours have also been added to the 2019 event for the Masters categories.

Registrations will be via Rowing Manager and close at midday (AWST) on Sunday 19 May 2019
