BOAT TRAILERING
TOWING BOATS TO WESTERN AUSTRALIA
West Australian clubs have had significant experience towing boat trailers across the country for events for many years, including attendance at the Sydney International Rowing Regatta (SIRR) for the past 6 years, Head of the Yarra and various Australian Masters Rowing Championships (including 2018 in Tasmania).
From this wealth of experience, a comprehensive downloadable Boat Trailering Guide has been compiled for those interstate clubs attending the 2019 AMRC. No doubt many of you would have considered towing vehicles across to Perth an unrealistic option, however as you will see below, trailering boats can be a cost and time effective way of competing at events a significant distance away.
Rule No.1: Collaborate with other clubs in your area to fill a trailer, share the cost and share the responsibility!!
